- Managed a group growing to 8 employees charged with CNN.com's critical infrastructure, including a 3,000 square foot data center, news feed receivers, and audio-video encoders.
- Created relational database system with text-paging integration for incident tracking. System was cited in a Department of Defense report to the Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
Systems specialist
- Support lead for CNN's Intercast product, an early data-enhanced television service developed in partnership with Intel.
- Trained on-air and CNN Interactive personnel on system; diagnosed and repaired down systems and services.
- Created web kiosk for CNN.com display window.

- Administered 50 Novell Netware servers and custom software using NetwareSQL and Btrieve, rolled out server components via wide-area network for new KO/Office installations in Atlanta, the US, and internationally.
- Named to rapid-response team formed to improve reliability of KO/Office server processes.
